Good day everyone. I figured that since we have this great podcast called "The Homeschool Dad Podcast" going, I might as well add a little on a daily blog. So here it is! For now I will keep it here, but eventually move it to the new site once I get some extra money. Anybody need some life insurance?

The Homeschool Dad Podcast is a little more formal here, so if you read my irreverent humor here and feel that the podcast is the same way, well give it a try and then unsubscribe! If you haven't subscribed to the podcast, then you are indeed missing out. Both of the people who listen like it.

What will we cover here (already using the "majestic we" to describe an organization of one), well right now I am going to try to shoot out a daily blur to encourage dads and make you think twice about what you are doing as a homeschooling father. I am not committed to doing this every day, but I will try!

While I have refrained from discussing much on the podcast that is personal, I will let it all hang out here. I am the father of 4 homeschooled kids; Sinclair - 16, Tori - 14, Caroline - 13, and Peyton -11. Mary and I have been homeschooling since the beginning and have really enjoyed a lot of success, and some of the same struggles that you have. We have enjoyed also homeschooling my nephew a little, he is currently back being schooled by his mom. He is the youngest of 4 and now an "only child" because the older have moved away. So to make things better for everyone we got to have him last year.

Currently Sinclair in the 11th grade, and that has given us at least 11 years of homeschooling experience. All of the kudos go to my beloved for doing this as she has done 99.99% of the work! And I guess that is the reason that I have done this blog and podcast, to keep the focus on how to support her and the homeschool that we have.

Love the feedback guys that you have sent to TheHomeschoolDad@gmail.com, keep it coming.
